The Rippey United Methodist Church will host an Imagine No Malaria pancake brunch Sunday, May 3, from 11:30 am to 1 pm. A free will offering will be taken to help fight malaria through a nation-wide project of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
With the Imagine No Malaria project, UMCOR partners with other international agencies with a goal of eradicating malaria by the year 2015. Although malaria is preventable, every year it kills 700,000 people, mostly children and pregnant women in sub-Saharan Africa
